I'm Helen Tran, and along with my family, we opened Rice Fields with one simple goal: to share the comforting, vibrant flavors of our Vietnamese heritage with our Richmond community. Growing up, the kitchen was the heart of our home — a place where stories were shared over steaming bowls of pho. With Rice Fields, we’ve created a space where those same traditions live on, one dish at a time.

When we designed our menu, we thought of the dishes we loved most — the kind that remind us of Hanoi street stalls and Saigon morning markets. From fragrant pho and crispy spring rolls to rich, savory rice plates, each dish is made the way our mothers and grandmothers taught us: with fresh ingredients, patience, and a whole lot of heart. It’s our way of bringing a little piece of Vietnam to Virginia.
